NATGEO’S GENOGRAPHIC PROJECT WAS LAUNCHED IN 2005 as a research project in collaboration with scientists and universities around the world with a goal of revealing patterns of human migration.

National Geographic has announced they will cease to support their genographic website on June 30, 2020. That’s why I’m posting the information in its entirety here. Through decades of research and reporting, National Geographic seeks to answer and share fundamental questions about our collective past: how our ancestors migrated from our African homeland, adapted, and populated the Earth.
